The Golden Sea by Ashton Henderson
The Golden Sea was very lonely. The next day something happened to it. It was very lonely then it got rainbow colours around it and some fish came in. The person who did all this was God. He knew the sea was so lonely he wanted to put some colourful stuff into it.
Soon a boat came by and it went past the Special Sea. It was going to a far away land. Suddenly it crashed into a massive rock. The boat sank down to the bottom of the Golden Sea. It got all rusty then one day beautiful seaweed plants grew on the shipwreck. Then fish started to live in it. They ate the seaweed.
Later on people watched the news on TV and saw pictures of the shipwreck. Some divers heard that there was treasure on the ship and decided to go and explore. The divers got their gear ready and went to get a boat. They thought about the treasure hunt and planned how they would explore the ship.
They followed their rope to the shipwreck. They had enough air. They had to break into the shipwreck. They saw lots of gold. One of the divers had to go back up to get a bag. They filled the bag with gold and then they all went back up.
All the divers felt happy. The Golden sea felt happy because people came and explored in it.
The divers were so happy they went back to shore and went to Mahurangi Christian School and shared about it.
